Overview

The OASIS VoiceXML Platform is a carrier class interactive multimedia platform that complies to open standards VoiceXML 2.0 and 2.1 to deliver real-time Video and Voice capabilities via a suite of advanced calling applications, including Video Telephony, Video Mail, Mobile TV, Interactive Voice & Video Response (IVVR), Speech and Interactive Voice Response (IVR).

With over 30,000 ports deployed globally and spanning industries across Banking, Finance, Airlines, Home Shopping, Priority Listing Directory Services and Courier Services. The platform is field proven for its versatility, robustness and reliability.

Built on the core OASIS Platform with a modular architecture to ensure high availability and unfettered scalability, the VoiceXML platform provides a wealth of capabilities that actively manages all network and media resources on a per service / operator basis providing full multi-tenancy.

  • Open Standards VoiceXML Interpreter –  Being 100% VoiceXML 2.1 compliant, the OASIS VoiceXML Interpreter seamlessly integrates with industry leader Nuance via their OpenSpeech™ Recognizer (OSR), RealSpeak Text-To-Speech (TTS) and Nuance Dialog modules (encapsulated application logic).

    The OASIS VoiceXML Interpreter provides all the prompts, DTMF and Nuance speech recognition, call flows and other parameters required to address frequent speech application tasks to deliver a complete solution for Interactive Voice & Video Response (IVVR), Speech and IVR.
  • Powerful Call Control Engines – Integrated with two different Call Control Engines, both CCTSL, CCXML* provide powerful call control capabilities that efficiently drive the platform to manage any complex multimedia call handling scenario.
  • Service Provisioning and Platform Management – Via OASIS ManagerTM system administrators can effectively manage key operations such as service provisioning, network and media resources availability and alarm management.

    Dynamic snapshots of the platform’s network and media resources status are handy for monitoring in real-time the platform resource conditions and service usage. With a set of alarm management features, administrators are provided with quick access to a comprehensive list of up-to-date alarm triggers and status conditions.
  • Intuitive and User Friendly Service Creation GUI – The OASIS VoiceXML Service Builder is a rapid service creation module, that provides a set of drag and drop, easy to use capabilities to allow administrators in creating voice, video, speech and DTMF based services. Via this powerful service creation tool, administrators are able to cut their application development time significantly.
  • DTMF Grammars  – Our specialised OASIS VoiceXML DTMF grammars allow DTMF tones to be recognised without the use of a Nuance ASR license. Ensuring that valuable ASR licenses are maximised and are only used for Speech recognition utterances.
