- High Port Density / Small Foot Print – OASIS Video & Voice Media Server (OMS) is designed to cater for high port densities with a small footprint via a number of different models. The 4 RU (Rack Unit) server supports up to 64 E1 or 1920 ports of media and switching resources, while the 2 RU server supports 500+ ports of IVR and speech applications or 120 ports of Voice, Speech and advanced Video services.
- Seamless Network Interoperability - Equipped with a comprehensive suite of open standards based signaling protocols (SIP, ISDN, ISUP, CAS, CAMEL and 3G Video), the network agnostic OMS integrates seamlessly into client’s networks and shortens the integration lead-time with other 3rd party systems.
- Rich Spread of Media Resources - OMS offers a wide range of media resources that include Video, Voice, Conferencing, Fax, Speech Recognition, Text-To-Speech and DTMF in order to support Video & Voice telephony and a whole wealth of value added services.
- Media Adaptation – Based on the end-device display capabilities, OMS carries out the media adaptation on the source, including video transcoding, frame rate adjustment / transrating, image rescaling, I-frame updates and constant frame-rate refreshing before streaming it down to different types of video enabled devices, providing users with an optimised visual experience
- Service Provisioning and Platform Management – Via OASIS Manager system administrators can effectively manage key operations such as service provisioning, network and media resources availability, multi-tenancy and alarm management.
Dynamic snapshots of the platform’s network and media resources status are also available for monitoring in real-time, the platform’s resource conditions and service usage. With a set of alarm management features, administrators are provided with quick access to a comprehensive list of up-to-date alarm triggers and status conditions.
