Overview

With 3G and High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) networks being rolled-out globally, marking the advent of a new era in telecommunications, voice or text alone is no longer meeting the needs of the consumer.

The OASIS Video Solution Suite, a state of the art multimedia (video and voice) platform that comprises of an array of leading edge modules that include the OASIS 3G Video Gateway (3G ViG), OASIS Video & Voice Media Server (OMS) and the OASIS Video Messaging Server (ViMS). The combination of these platforms and modules deliver a video suite that provides a spread of rich media killer applications with real-time video (via static content or live streaming), such as Mobile TV, Video Messaging, Interactive Voice & Video Response (IVVR), Multiparty Video Conferencing*, Video Surveillance*, Video Blogging and Video Gaming*.

The OASIS Video Solution Suite incorporates a set of enhanced video controlling features which include Record, Play, Stop, Fast Forward*, Rewind*, Pause*, Text Overlay* and Conferencing* to enable end-users with enhanced control.
  • Standard Network interfaces - The OASIS Video Solution Suite is available with standard network interface modules supporting SIP signalling for IP networks, PSTN & ISDN interface modules, out of band signalling (clear channel) and SS7 interfaces that allows any network to be seamlessly integrated.
  • Real-Time Streaming – By supporting industry standard – RTSP, for real time streaming allows the Video Solution Suite to deliver dynamic or live video from local or remote sources to telephony video endpoints utilising standard RTSP streaming servers.
  • Standard VoiceXML Platform – The OASIS Video Solution Suite is based on the scalable and proven OASIS VoiceXML platform which is compliant with the VoiceXML 2.0 and 2.1 standards. This means services can be easily developed and deployed using standard Web based technologies, hence providing access to implement Speech Recognition, Text-To-Speech and DTMF to support Interactive Voice & Video Response (IVVR) applications and services.
  • Powerful Call Control– Integrated with two different Call Control Engines, both CCTSL and CCXML* provide powerful call control capabilities that efficiently drive the platform to manage any complex multimedia call handling scenario.
