With the rise of global terrorism and high-tech crimes, telecom regulators everywhere require licensed telecom operators to provide a legal call intercept capability for security agencies to monitor calls made by suspected criminal parties. Post 911 there has been an increasing demand for more sophisticated and secure legal call interception solutions, OASIS introduces the latest version of their Legal Call Intercept Platform (LCIP) that is fully compliant to ETSI international standards (ETSI ES 201 671 V2.1.1).

Leveraging the network signalling resources of OASIS Media Server (OMS), the LCIP is network agnostic with ISDN, ISUP, SIP and 3G-324M capabilities, the platform interops seamlessly in a mixed network environments.

The LCIP facilitates multiple law enforcement agencies in executing real-time and confidential monitoring of voice, video, data* and fax* calls on the various types of networks that are subjected to a call interception warrant. All monitoring agencies that are simultaneously monitoring the same call are totally unaware of each other's actions or presence. Furthermore, the platform ensures all agencies are treated as equals with the same set of available features and functionality to safeguard the integrity of the required monitoring standards.

OASIS LCIP delivers an extremely flexible, cost effective, secure and scalable solution to address service provider’s legal requirements to support call interception.
