Standards based methods of integration for connectivity and interoperability

The OASIS platform supports a variety of integration options and methods to allow access to external systems, resources and data. Utilising open standards protocols and interfaces endorsed by W3C, 3GPP, IETF and 3GPP, virtually any system can be integrated to the OASIS platform to allow for advanced application development with real time integration capabilities.

TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) – As one of the core protocols of the Internet Protocol suite, OASIS supports TCP to provides reliable, delivery of packet data streams for its service applications. With the capabilities of TCP, the platform is able to provide a simpler interface to applications, rearrange out-of-order packets, minimize network congestion, and re-transmit discarded packets.
RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) –RTP defines a standardized packet format for delivering video and audio over the Internet, OASIS Platform supports the protocol and is complaint to RFC 3550, to deliver real-time video and voice for interactive video and voice and video streaming applications.
HTTP & HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol and Secured HTTP) – OASIS Platform supports both regular HTTP and the secured HTTPS protocol for communicating with customer’s intranet and external websites via a series of open standards methods including POST and GET capabilities. With HTTPS, the platform supports application for security-sensitive communication such as payment transactions and corporate logons.
SOAP & Web Services (Simple Object Access Protocol) – By supporting the SOAP framework for Web Services, the platform is able to communicate via XML messages to support the seamless and easy network traversal behind proxies and firewalls.
RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) – OASIS supports the use of the standard RTSP to provide live dynamic video streaming for 3G and IP based video applications. Any RTSP based streaming server (Real, Apple and others) can be used in conjunction with the platform to support end-devices with video controls such as Record, Play, Pause, Rewind and Fast Forward video.
MRCP (Media Resource Control Protocol) – The OASIS Platform includes MRCP to allowing a standards based interface to various speech recognition products, including Nuance.
OpenCLI – OASIS provides our customer the flexibility of integrating their own external call control application onto our platform through OpenCLI, allowing other Dialogic developers to quickly move their existing applications onto our high performance, high availability media server architecture.
Database – OASIS has fully integrated support of open source PostgreSQL and industry leader ORACLE as its database repository. This facility allows highly scalable and high performance data-centric applications to be developed in a multi-node distributed architecture.
