System management, provisioning, statistics, monitoring and security tools

Overview

The OASIS Platform provides a number of management tools that provide full control and detailed information on the system’s performance and status.

OASIS’ user-friendly platform management tool OASIS Manager, allows all system components to be monitored and administered from a single user interface. OASIS Manager is capable of grouping system components into a single logical “route” where all components in that route can be managed as a single system. OASIS Manager provides management of service provisioning, system performance monitoring, alarming and network monitoring of all OASIS core components including the telephony signalling, (ISUP, SIP, ISDN etc), OASIS VoiceXML servers and application servers.

The OASIS platform features a module called Probe that provides access to statistics and allows external systems to receive alarms dynamically as they occur or polling of all current alarms.  Probe also provides the ability for the user to raise and clear alarms in OASIS Manager.

OASIS Manager also provides specific status information on all OASIS process and hardware status, associated alarms, resource or bearer type, voice channel status. Inbound and outbound call stats are displayed in real time on a per route or node basis. Resource monitoring allows a real time view of all system resources including ASR and TTS. System wide latencies are also reported on in real time allowing easy trouble shooting of all local and remote hosts involved in a transaction.

Capabilities

  • Tailored “Virtual” View – OASIS Manager provides the ability to create your own “virtual” view to allow you to define the system based on your own implementation. Via logical routes and nodes a true representation of your logical and physical system can be configured to allow easier management.
  • System Wide Provisioning – OASIS Manager allows applications and content files to be easily provisioned across a large scale distributed system from one location.
  • Alarming – Via OASIS Manager and OASIS Probe, system alarms and conditions can be viewed, managed and pro-actively alerted to external escalation and workflow systems. All system alarms including configuration, process, resources, signalling link(s) and layers, CAPS, OS, database, VoiceXML and others can be viewed, managed and pro-actively alerted to external escalation and workflow systems.
  • Statistics – Via OASIS Probe access to statistics based on different system elements can be reported. Information based on each system, network link/span, service, server and URL can be accessed.
