The OASIS Platform provides a number of management tools that provide full control and detailed information on the system’s performance and status.
OASIS’ user-friendly platform management tool OASIS Manager, allows all system components to be monitored and administered from a single user interface. OASIS Manager is capable of grouping system components into a single logical “route” where all components in that route can be managed as a single system. OASIS Manager provides management of service provisioning, system performance monitoring, alarming and network monitoring of all OASIS core components including the telephony signalling, (ISUP, SIP, ISDN etc), OASIS VoiceXML servers and application servers.
The OASIS platform features a module called Probe that provides access to statistics and allows external systems to receive alarms dynamically as they occur or polling of all current alarms. Probe also provides the ability for the user to raise and clear alarms in OASIS Manager.
OASIS Manager also provides specific status information on all OASIS process and hardware status, associated alarms, resource or bearer type, voice channel status. Inbound and outbound call stats are displayed in real time on a per route or node basis. Resource monitoring allows a real time view of all system resources including ASR and TTS. System wide latencies are also reported on in real time allowing easy trouble shooting of all local and remote hosts involved in a transaction.
